Just finished the second treatment in 2 days for my arthritic hands. Yes, the wax melts, quickly (about 20 min.) if you set the temp at 75. But then it's too hot to use for a while. So you shut it off and wait maybe another 15-20 minutes until the temp goes down to 60. Or set it at 60 and go about your business - after about an hour about 90 % was melted so I took it up to 75 just long enough to finish melting then turned it off. About 5 -10 minutes later it was a toasty 60. That's recommended to increase blood flow and it feels great to coat your hands with the brush. Then with a first coat, I dip my hands briefly and continue to do it until you've got a good coating. The trick is how to do both hands! I do the right, coat, add the liner and mitten then do the same on the left, using my mitted right hand.No there is not enough paraffin supplied to fill to the 2000ml. That's the reason for the 4 stars. After melting, when I added the grate at the bottom, it was still well shy of 2000. My guess is they should double what they send!The pink machine worked fine, the lid wasn't cracked, the wax was new and in packs. The liners are basically bags, the mitts are just a large rectangular covering. But you get what you pay for. I wanted to see if it worked and if I'd really use it without investing too much. The heat feels great, my hands are softer, the machine works and I'm satisfied. But I'll buy more wax if I decide to really dip or try my feet!
