This sturdy case has a three inch hinge and stretch fabric stretched across the top of the crib. It's a little pricey, but it fits my OVVO 3834 glasses and is a lot thinner than the collapsible shoe box they came with. My OVVO 3834, size 59-18/145 barely fit. Its screwless hinges expand the width by 3/4 inch when folded for a total of 6.5 inches. The case has a slight curvature to match the contour of the frame, without which they wouldn't fit. The height and width of the frame completely fills the case, and thanks to the elastic webbing on the lens side of the clamshell, the glasses are held so securely that there is no movement when the case is shaken. The downside is that the protrusions on the screwless hinges cut into the foam padding and prevent the case from closing about 1/16 of an inch all the way. I'm not worried about this as the frames don't bend or scratch and once the stretchy fabric has stretched a bit it should close tightly.
