This is a good power adapter that adds power at a reasonable price. Well-suited for laptops and tablets with a single USB-C port, it charges your device while providing Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. It appears to deliver a maximum output of 60W, making it best suited for ultrabooks and tablets. It will most likely not deliver enough power for larger devices, which often require 85W or more. In my experience, these devices drain the battery or run slower depending on how the manufacturer configured them. You will need a USB-C power adapter, which will normally charge your device as it is not included. The network component fits other gigabit USB-C adapters and delivers full gigabit performance in both directions in my iPerf tests. I've tested it successfully on a 12" Macbook and a Microsoft Surface Go. In short, if you're looking for a way to power your laptop with a single port and also provide Ethernet, this device is for you.
