Ordered these to replace mine, the was broken. The bolts that come with the kit were an inch longer than the door. My previous mirrors were also installed "after sale" and fit great. I ended up removing the old screws from the old mirror with some muscle power and WD-40. With their help, the driver's side earned. A little OCD and since these new mirrors look quite slightly different I decided to swap out the passenger side for a new one, although it wasn't broken either (I couldn't find an order for just one side so ended up getting both). I can't find any matching double-threaded bolts. As mentioned above, they are about an inch longer. There is no way to screw them in deep enough to actually screw the nut in far enough to either hold the mirror or reattach the door panel and close the door. If I could cut them clean enough that the threads would still accept the nut, I would. I also noticed a slight wind whistling on the driver's side that I didn't have with previous mirrors. They also visually vibrate more than advertised, but I may be able to fix some with shims and blemishes.
