My biggest thing was to not drill into my new truck. This switch let me accomplish that. I however did end up cutting the ground because the backlight is a soft white (which white light is amplified x1000 at night) and when turned on is a super bright white light. I just turned the light off and the switch works fine. I used a 40a relay in the engine bay next to my battery and the switch activates it for my bumper fog lights. 4 stars, because it came with double sided tape and works as I intended (other people need to do more research so they know exactly what they're getting).
