I bought this as an upgrade for my Halloween projectors (some "Window FX Pro" that are a few years old). , hoping that this will be useful and for other applications. It was only marginally better than the projectors I've had and lacked in a few areas: - The software is slow, taking half a second for each button press. - The brightness is only slightly better than with my projector. old Window FX that I find almost useless for anything other than Halloween decorations. Sharpness was better at 1080p but still lacking for viewing text or detailed images. The fan is quite noisy, although probably not much louder than most in this compact form factor. Bluetooth audio is basically useless: it's the wrong direction. You can use the projector's [very bad, I think mono] speaker as a bluetooth speaker for other devices, but you can't send sound from the projector to external bluetooth speakers. Why? oh my god why Maybe they could add this in a software update, but as it is it's just a hilariously useless feature. As far as I can tell, there's no playlist support, so you can't just play a cutscene - it's quite a specialized feature, but I was still a little disappointed that there wasn't an option for it. Okay, there are a few positives, especially for this price range: Resolution and color accuracy are better than my older projectors (this one doesn't say much). The device is quite compact, especially for a native 1080p projector (approx. 9 x 7 x 3.5 inches). Keystone features are decent for this price range (automatic keystone detection adjusts digital keystone values assuming a vertical wall and you can adjust keystone angles manually - full 4-point keystone adjustment, i.e. horizontal and vertical tilt digitally compensate). from iOS, Android or Windows devices. - Games had connectivity when connected via HDMI - Not sure if that was enough for fast FPS games, but the latency wasn't that great in the third-person shooter I tried. - It has a decent range of ports - HDMI, Micro SD, USB, wireless (3.5mm audio out and USB-C, which I haven't tried). The biggest cons for me: 1. I expected more brightness2. The user interface (menus, etc.) was sluggish. The biggest advantages for me: 1. Wireless casting features2. 4-Point Keystone Adjustment I spent about $50 more for a slightly larger 1080p projector (10 x 9 x 4.5 inches) that has much better brightness and a more responsive UI while still keeping the same features retained.
