Review on ๐Ÿ’พ High-Capacity Glyph StudioRAID Thunderbolt 2 Desktop External Hard Drive (28TB): Efficient Storage Solution for Professionals by Dwight Tim

Do not buy. BAD customer service. Failed within a week.

We bought this drive for professional use in our video editing studio. He died within the first week. The markings on the box and inside the box promise "3-2-1" with a 3-year hardware warranty, 2-year data recovery and 1-year overnight replacement. They sent a replacement drive, blocked my credit card (which is normal) and didn't respond when I asked about the delivery in their ticketing system (email). I noticed this as soon as I received a copy of the tracking number. This is not normal for a professional drive. I will NEVER, EVER touch anything from Glyph for personal or professional use again. It doesn't cost any extra money and the quality is no better than what's available at the consumer level. It appears to have been made from parts by Fry's Electronics.

Pros
  • Supports USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 connections
Cons
  • Issue
