I only bought this product because I dedicate a lot of time to hair care. I have naturally thick, coarse, curly hair, dandruff and my hair is long. I have to condition my hair with prescription shampoos that don't really do much, I still see flakes when I brush, and this poop is drying my hair. This means that I often have to give my hair intensive care and also use protein formulas. I can't wash my hair too often or my hair feels like straw and my curls are just frizzy. I have used this product 3 times and wash my hair every 3 days. The scrub arrived a week after ordering which was earlier than expected and that is how it is described/looks! I ordered pink. Some people suggest putting shampoo/conditioner in the scrub for application, I don't recommend that. Half of my product just got stuck in the base of the scrub no matter how much I applied - and no, I don't overuse. :) My products are too expensive to play this game. Make a regular lather and then use this brush to make gentle circles and strokes on the scalp. My hair is so thick I almost wish the long teeth were longer, but I feel like they wouldn't be strong enough to comb my hair. I need to divide my hair into four sections and then massage each section. For these reasons I do not experience a generous scalp massage when using this product. It's a lot of work, but I use the product to exfoliate my scalp and remove flakes/dandruff, not spa treatments. Overall I've found it helps me enough to keep using it, but it won't get rid of dandruff or clear my scalp. I have a serious case with my hair type. If you have straight hair that isn't very thick I imagine this would work much better, or if you're just a guy with short hair of any kind.
