Installed on a 1999 Honda Civic Sedan and works great. My plastic hood latch broke and I had to use a vise to get the latch out. To install I had to remove the protective plastic sheet and use wire cutters to snip off some of the plastic left over from the broken factory hood latch. I remember installing the aluminum hood latch and tightening the socket head cap screw. I didn't over tighten as I didn't want to strip the aluminum as the cable looks like galvanized metal. It's small enough to slip through the kick bar when you put it all back together. The article has been running for almost 6 months now.
