I believe every car should have a door step. If I had it all the time in my life it would be stupid because you have to get up so often. The ones in our other car have an impact point and are very simple in their original design but perfect for emergencies. This one goes above and beyond by creating a stabilizer that also supports your weight. And also hard enough to break glass in an emergency. The price is standard in my opinion, especially given the amount of steel used to protect you. It'll get easier if we ever need to tie something to the top.
