Review on Skechers Lighs Sport Lighted Sneaker Boys' Shoes in Sneakers by Cris Walton

My son loves shoes. Probably because of the lighting. It's definitely not an athletic shoe, but it's great for playing. So far the shoes have been very durable and have kept his feet dry. They aren't designed for puddle jumping, as some reviewers seem to expect. However, they are excellent for hiking in the rain and snow. My son even plays with it in the snow and his feet stay dry. These are sneakers so of course snow/water can get into the opening of the shoe if it's too deep or submerged in water (let your kids know they aren't waders :). The look of the shoe took some getting used to, but after seeing how functional it was, I liked it. lol **Update: just bought the 2nd pair in red. Blue is still strong. They look great and all the lights still work. My son is very active and plays a lot. These shoes have been our best purchase so far. We love these shows especially in spring, winter and fall. A little hot for summer. Bought a slightly larger size for thicker socks. It can be worn early next summer if not longer.
