Sturdy, works well!

I purchased this 1 9/16" Forstner bit to make a flat-bottomed hole in 3/8" plexiglass for an LED candle. Many answers to my question about using it in plexiglass were discouraging, but it works perfectly! Yes, it makes a mess of shavings, which I am sure it does in wood, too. But it cut cleanly and without excessive chatter, leaving a smooth edged hole. Just go slowly, "peck" drill, and use lots of lubrication. I couldn't be more pleased. Can't speak to longevity, as I have only just gotten it and used it once.
