I don't have a lot of makeup, but I recently bought a set of makeup brushes and didn't know how to store them so they're always to hand. My makeup bag is very small, but this bag works great! For my purposes, I want the cylindrical compartment's zipper to be about an inch from the valve. But otherwise it's perfect. I leave the zippers open most of the time and the magnet is strong enough to hold everything in place when I put the case back in the drawer.
