I got this for my 3 year old who likes listening to jazz and classical music (yes I think it's a bit rare but we might have a little soul concert kids) but weird , and that's why I watch Peppa Pig on a tablet or car TV while driving. Turns out we used these headphones a lot and they were sure to fall off or become detached or you know what 3-4 year olds can do with them or how rough they are most of the time. The first couple stopped working early. We held out for about a couple of months and one side gave up. I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent us a replacement. It's fantastic, it's rare to get customer service for many brands, even famous brands, these people emailed once and they replied within 8 hours. The replacement took about 1 year and one side died again on us when the first pair failed early.Quick Facts:Pros: -Very affordable price for this quality -Fantastic volume limiting, just as perfect -Lots of noise cancellation but kids can still hear them when the volume is on - No static noise - Port dispensing is an extremely useful and smart idea - Smooth edges and smooth finish - Sturdy body, chassis and body - Sturdy braided cable with 3.5mm jacks - Good bend at the top Shaft, it won't break - Foldable phones are just superb, compact and ergonomic - High quality material Cons: - Not sure if it's the speaker quality or the coil of the speakers, they don't last long! - the first pair failed in less than 3 months, the second pair (guarantee exchange) lasted a little less than a year. Not sure how many times they can replace him. Bottom line: I don't mind buying a pair a year or a pair every 18 months, but if I have to replace them every 6-8 months I'd rather buy elsewhere where it will last longer. Because it sucks when it stops working during an 18 hour drive and you can't get another in the middle of nowhere. A test case with stress testing applied will definitely reveal weaknesses in them. Perhaps better speakers should increase overall lifespan. It would also be nice to have a sibling pack where you can buy a set of 2, 3 or 4 headphones in one package with enough cables and a good affordable price. Where families with multiple children can buy, they don't have to pay 3-4 times full price, but could be a little cheaper than buying one at a time. Overall I would definitely recommend these headphones but durability really depends on the application. Don't expect to use them for 3 years, you'll be lucky if they last a year or more.
