Review on 🧵 Bayco KW-110 Cord Storage Reel - 100-Feet, Orange (with Center Spin Handle) by Matthew Fadoul

No idea about extension cords. I am not an electrician or contractor and do not regularly use extension cords. So when the product listing says "Holds up to 100' 16/3 SJT or 75' 14/3 SJT Cord" I really have no idea what that means. And there is no marking on my power strip to indicate how much "SJT" it has. So I ignored everything, clicked buy and hoped for the best. Nothing has happened. My cable is 27.4 m long and about 10.6 mm in diameter. It does not fit. Now it's coming back. If your extension is one of the really thick outdoor extensions like mine, you're probably in the 75ft camp. But even then it can still be tight because these thicker cords are less flexible and don't twist as tightly. You can stretch the string around the object to add friction/tension as you wind it up, but who has time for all that. If I had been that patient and careful, I wouldn't have needed it at all.
