Exceeded my expectations! I ordered these to pack heavy kitchen/household items. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered 2 more sets. All PLUS POINTS - no disadvantages: 1. ASSEMBLY - After unpacking, each box and lid is one piece. Each of them has a perfect notch and perforation, making them easy to detach and reassemble. To assemble the box, make 3 simple folds and then fold the handle. To assemble the lid, twist and bend the ends so the tabs fit into the slots. All 10 were the same size when assembled. All lids fit snugly, perfectly flat, and stay on while moving. Because the sides of the lids fold in half, they are very strong.2. STRENGTH AND RELIABILITY - I bought duct tape that I didn't need. The cardboard is thick and strong. A thoughtful assembly creates a seamless floor made of 3 layers of durable cardboard. Nothing falls through the bottom of this box. I filled one with a heavy set of cast iron skillets and another with a full set of cookware. None of them required additional packing tape. I was really shocked, I did NOT need any tape.3. HANDLING - Because you fold in the side grip holes, you get a smooth grip that won't dig into your hand. These crates were easy to carry, even when loaded with heavy cast-iron pans. This is probably my favorite feature - no more awkwardly trying to lift and carry crates with tape. No more taped boxes across the floor that I can't lift. Hooray!4. STACKABLE - The strong cardboard sides made it easy for me to stack them into 4 pieces. There were no bent covers and dented sides.5. PRICE. So, at $2 a box, I think that's a great deal. Superior quality compared to traditional packing box which cost just little less.6. REUSE - Not only do I not need tape - when I use them to move I can simply disassemble the box and lid and then fold them up and store flat without damaging them. Thick cardboard makes them strong and stable.
