It really is a full grain leather and you can see it in the window area. It holds 3 cards and an ID card inside although it fits snugly as it is leather it will tear over time and keeps all cards handy if desired. The packaging it came in was very pretty and complemented the wallet. Being new it takes a little effort to fit the bills and not show the tip but if it breaks I'm sure it will get easier. This is a very good wallet, although probably not an everyday driver for me. I carry a lot of cards with me every day and need to keep all my receipts when I travel and it might be too thin for that purpose. In addition, the outside pocket is too deep for my personal taste. I usually keep business cards in this pocket, and the more open they are, the quicker they go bad. For those who only hold one commonly used credit card in it, it's easier to pull out a credit card with a deeper cut. I'll probably use it on a few occasions when I want to travel more compactly. In the pictures I put 3 cards, an ID card, some business cards on the outside and 10 bills on the inside to test the thickness of everything.
