This is a very basic monitor but with some very important features that you won't find on most modern monitors. 1, it never gets a blue screen, which means you can see as much signal as it's receiving (great for analog video when you're getting a weak signal), and 2, you can turn it on very easily. I have a video receiver and DVR connected to mine and with a second channel I can also set up an additional receiver to switch between 5.8g and 1.3g video with a single button. The sunshade is a big bonus and the remote control can come in handy too. . Excellent image quality and brightness!
