I bought this watch purely as a novelty and wasn't expecting much. I love watches of all kinds and this one is no exception. I've only had it for a little over a week, but I'm finding it much more comfortable than I expected. Other reviewers mentioned that when opening it, it was difficult to tell the front from the back. From the front, when you hold it, the gap between the case and the front panel becomes much more noticeable. Others have mentioned that it is not easy to close when closed. I've found that if I push the crown lightly, the case closes fairly easily. I understand that you can't get a crown jewel for $12. I find it easy to read and very accurate in the timing. I like it and I was not disappointed. Would I buy more? Of course, if that one stopped working, I'd try another. It won't break the bank. Update: 12/20/2016 This watch is still a real pleasure. There were no problems with this. It was useful because I considered the purchase novelty, but it was something more. I love it when we can buy something that reasonable every once in a while and have such a rewarding experience. I'm increasing my rating to five stars.
