Bought a camera to take photos while kayaking. I need to be able to turn the camera off and on quickly. It takes almost 10 seconds to turn on, so it often lacks the image I'm hoping for. And I have to turn it off quickly so I can steer my kayak. It switches modes if you don't hold down the power button long enough. The mode switch should be on a different button. When I turn it on and take a picture, it's in 3 second delay mode. I don't always notice it until I take a picture. Then you have to scroll through all modes to return to photo mode. By this point I had either lost control of the kayak or the shot had long since ended. Image quality is good but doesn't make up for the other issues with the camera.
