This item does not fit out of the box (console lid does not close). You'll need to trim the ends (short length) almost to the base, as will the handle section on each end that faces the front of the car. If you score the plastic and then break it along the cutting line with pliers, you'll get a nice clean cut. After the above upgrade, everything works EXCELLENT. I can and have been able to determine the friction/blocking point fairly easily and correctly guess the type of plastic for abrasion/fracture. I would love to, but that's again, but I hope this information helps other future buyers!
