My past experience in hobbyist flying was 50 years ago with a gas engine airplane flying in circles. For the past few years I have had a passing interest in drones. But I was not about to spend $500 to $1000+ to give it a try.When I saw this little drone at such a low price, I knew it was time to try flying again.After reading the manual, my first flight crashed in seconds. There was no damage. My second flight went much better. I still crash from time to time, but I keep learning. And the little A20 is in the same shape as when I took it out of the box.I know there are some critics about the time you can fly on one battery charge. This is true in that a charge will last about 5-10 minutes. Considering the size of the drone and the batteries, I consider this acceptable. And with the 3 batteries I can keep learning for 20-30 minutes at a session, I am just fine with that.I will say that I was a little concerned with how tight the connector for the battery was. I worried that I might break something when it came time to unplug and recharge. I found that it works just as well if I only pushed the connector in far enough to make contact and I didn't need to really force it all the way in.So, bottom line: I may never buy a larger drone, but if I do I will be better prepared to control it without crashing and breaking it. In the meantime, I'm learning to fly and having fun at the same time.If you want to give flying a drone a try and not break the bank to learn, you can't do much better than this A20.
