if you read the description and even look at all the pictures, you can see that these nuts are screwed into the factory ones. It's the wrong thread pitch, and why would you remove the factory nuts to fiddle around and try to secure the stamped steel nut that comes with it? I'm sending mine back. I think if you don't have anything at all in your jeep or an older one with SAE threads they might fit you. everyone else here must have partial threads because of the wrong pitch. This is a large thread 5/16, not 8mm
