Review on Enhance STEM Learning with Robolink CoDrone Pro - Programmable and Educational Drone Kit by Aquarium Lanter

So first it literally showed up the next morning when I ordered it even though it was so close to Christmas (not sure if it Revain or Robolink was , but good job!). The drone itself is already intact when you open the packaging. It's at the top of a URL insert that takes you to a tutorial on their site, because underneath the drone is a bunch of cool awkward wires, screws, chips and whatnot (which turns out parts are made of) . remote control that you program and connect to to control the aircraft). You don't really need to know what it is to get started, the videos (conveniently titled "Getting Started") will walk you through what it is. You have an instructor walk you through assembling the remote, showing you how to install the software on your computer, and once they set up the basic code, it only takes a few minutes at most to get started. You can do more with the drone by uploading more complex codes, which I haven't gone through all the manuals for, but it's all available on their website. The drone itself is quite small and light, but sturdy enough. to take a few hits while you learn how to use it (though don't fly it outdoors in windy weather. OR ANYTHING MAYBE? It says right on the liner that it's not for outdoor use, lol). If you're more of a hands-on learner and think you won't be good at coding just by looking at the lines on the screen, programming a flying toy is great because you can see how it reacts. I bet if I were a parent (since I'm the type who learns to teach) it would be great to work on this with my kid. This is definitely a good way to learn about the Arduino environment, which is actually software applicable to things other than this toy (like some serious fancy robotics). On Kickstarter earlier this year and they have regular updates so I'm looking forward to going through the rest of the tutorials and seeing what's new after I complete them!
