- May 31, 2020, my technician tried to install the ignition switch to save the purchase, big mistake, the cable connector is different from the bike, it has no wiring and its attachment is wrong . I COMPLETELY REGRET FOR SPENDING THAT $40, also I shipped it to my country in the Caribbean so my spend was even more. DO NOT BUY FOR 2005 SUZUKI HAYABUSA! I bought this kit to replace the locks on my recently purchased used Hayabusa. I received the bike with a key and felt I should replace it with a new set. Order and delivery went well. The product has arrived. When it came to replacing the trunk lock mechanism the mechanism on the bike is different than what was sold so it's useless, minor thing I was really interested in the gas cap and switch. Changed the gas cap, no problem. For three weeks (I only drive on weekends) yesterday I filled up the tank, opened the tank and the whole key and mechanism for locking the gas cap came out of the cap and sat in my hand. I turn it over and put it back in and it locks, but every time I open the gas cap the lock falls out of my hand, it even came out with the key when I locked it back in and it continues to do so, if you don't. Do not hold down the mechanism when removing the key. It's definitely a cheap gas cap mechanism. I don't even bother installing the key. Wasted time and money!
