I've never used an irrigator, just good old wax cords. So it was a huge, funny and then rather sad learning process for me. I have a disability that affects the feeling in my hands and my dexterity and also causes tremors. So it was very interesting to get acquainted with this device. I seem to have flossed almost every part of the bathroom, my face and almost every other part of my upper body, as well as my teeth. This thing is pretty strong and cleans between teeth very well if pointed in the right direction. It was a random situation for me, but I feel better every day. I haven't tried the rest of the tips yet. I figured I should get used to the basics before attempting a new one. When I first charged it, something in the back of my mind told me that one day that little rubber cover over the charging port was going to fail. fall into the sink and down the drain. Well, that's exactly what happened yesterday, and I'm not very happy about it. I know I shouldn't have held it over the sink to get the rubber cover off. But actually I went in without turning on the bathroom light, leaving the bedroom light on, mistaking it for a watery plaque from the loss of feeling in the damaged nerves in my fingers. I don't know why it wasn't. Made like most other devices where it has something to hold onto so it doesn't get lost. Now my thread is no longer waterproof. This is a design flaw. The main disadvantage. Now I had to put waterproof tape on the charging port, which I have to replace every time I charge it. It should not be. Aside from the fact that some if not most people end up losing the piece of rubber covering the charging port, I really like this thread. Once I get better at it and have more control over it and stop flossing everything in the bathroom and myself, I'll enjoy it even more. actually related to where you won't lose it, I would prefer this one even if it's exactly the same. For me that would mean everything. However, due to the inevitable loss of the charging port cover, I can only give this one 3.5 stars.
