I just installed this grid on the bed of my pickup truck and it does exactly what I bought it for - keeps grocery bags from sliding around in my bed. It works like this: There are small loops at the four corners of the overall grid that you attach to the rails or the edge of the bed. I didn't fasten the net other than using the tension to pull on some of the handles in my truck and it didn't move at all. The only downside I found was that it was a bit smaller than expected - about 6 people fit inside. 7 paper grocery bags, nothing stacked on top of each other, and that there were no hooks in the kit to connect the system to the truck bed rails - they must be purchased separately. Overall I would say 4.5/5 stars
