Review on RCI 7050A Safety Foam Prce Stck by Leo Torres

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Slightly different from the photo but should work.

This is a little different than what I expected but should still work after doing some research. The actual product is blue not grey/black but the label says 7050A. of which it's probably something like 20/25. If you have an aquarium my filters are usually around 10 which is pretty rough what I would expect. As it turns out, the difference in volume you lose in your fuel tank is relatively negligible between 10 and 30 ppi, but retention is slightly higher. All in all, I guess I don't care. ppi is basically the number of holes per inch (pores per inch) - google it and you'll see all sorts of images. I suspect most of this foam is from the same source, and I've read that a manufacturer "blue" that looks very similar doesn't do well with ethanol fuel over time. Can't tell if it's the same or true, but it's worth mentioning and just keeping an eye on as time goes on. A note: the edges are not straight cut, they have a concave underwire on the short sides. This shouldn't make a huge difference, but it might differ your measurements a bit if you're a picky person. I'll try to update if I find anything in the long run.
