When my eyelids failed after 50 years of removing my lenses, I decided to try this product, similar to what an optometrist uses when removing lenses. It took me a little while to learn how to center it on the lens with just the right amount of wetting solution, but it definitely works. The case is waterproof so the instrument can be cleaned with lens cleaner and stored in a soaking solution to keep it clean, but make sure you store it upside down if you do this or it will end up in the bottom of the storage tube gets sucked and very hard to get out!
