Need a stronger base

This worked great for a few weeks. Unfortunately the base broke where it attaches to the suction cup, the only thing holding it to the windshield was the extremely sticky substance that was applied to the suction cup. I live in a city so no bumpy roads that would cause too much force to break. The problem is that it's just a small piece of plastic holding everything together. Everything else is well done. No problems opening and closing motors to hold my phone. However, I've only been using it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on the lifespan of the electronic beats.
