Updated: I've since learned that my thermostat AND the dash temp sensor failed almost simultaneously. This thermostat works perfectly - I confirmed this by hooking up an OBD sensor and reading the actual temperature from the car's computer, not the temp sensor, and it was accurate. We apologize for the initial erroneous review. Original: I bought this as a 195 degree thermostat to replace the one open stuck in my Chevy pickup. It fits and works perfectly, but only regulates the temperature to around 165 degrees. So it works, but only at the wrong temperature. He has a job and he's not doing it right. Considering the pain of draining the coolant and replacing the thermostat I have to give it an honest star. It costs me time and money to replace it.
