wheels are loud!

I wanted to like it. I had one a few years ago and wore it on the floor for various errands and laundry. I bought this large one to deliver boxed newspapers to businesses. I can handle the load just fine, but damn NOISE! I was taken back to my childhood by the sound of the big wheels, those fun little plastic bikes with plastic tires. Noise was kind of fun for me as a kid - look how funny I am! It's NOT that fun when people turn their heads to see where the sound is coming from as I roll down the sidewalk to drop my knots. It's quite a symphonic rumble. It won't be a problem on sand or grass, but if you're hoping to use it on sidewalks, bring earbuds and a sense of humor to look the way you get it. It's more cumbersome to get into my car. In addition, they reduced the cost of the soft padding on the steering wheel. It was a nice feature of my eldest. Now they only have about 1/3 of the handlebars covered in padding and that's in the middle, which doesn't make any sense. (Unless you want to use one hand to push or pull the cart in the middle.) Overall it's a good workhorse, but if I could inspect it before buying I'd go for something with smaller, quieter tires.

Pros
  • Golf cart
Cons
  • Big and bulky
