TL:DR - Pump broken, after I fixed the pump the well was leaking, then when I fixed the leaks the pump started buzzing terribly loud after just a day Operation. Very frustrating. Details: I bought this fountain for my home office. I was trying to assemble a small pump but the plastic connector that the hose attaches to broke. Instead of sending it back I decided to fix it...I was able to fix it with epoxy and attach a hose. I filled it up and turned it on and it looked and worked well. Then I went away for an hour and came back... to find it had spilled all over the counter. Luckily I haven't put it on my wooden bookshelf yet. But the pump was good and quiet, so I decided to just seal the leaking parts of the fountain where the water flowed out of the cast stone. I did this and waited a few days to make sure everything was fully healed. Then I started it again and the water resistance held... but after the first day the pump started making a horrible very loud buzz and I couldn't stop it. I checked, but nothing seems broken; The pump just vibrated like crazy. At this point it was already too late to return the goods. My advice: save your money and find a stronger, less leaking well with a more reliable pump.
