I bought this on a whim at a drug store sale. The instructions for use are to clean makeup brushes with soap and water and rub them to remove makeup. It definitely works as described. What really surprised me is that this thing works really well when you use it on dry (but with makeup) brushes. Got a great eyeshadow brush but want to wash away the dark brown to apply soft silver? Brush it until clean. That big, fluffy bronzer brush you want to use for your blush? He's good for that too! It works great as a dry brush. Silicone will grab makeup if you wipe it multiple times. Can't believe Elf doesn't sell it for drybrush use. I tried washing some heavily pigmented eyeshadow off my regular brushes. No noticeable color remains on the brushes. Definitely worth the price!
