I have recently started carving wooden spoons and decided to buy a curved chisel instead of a spoon knife as they are difficult to sharpen. I was so excited when I got this in the mail. First it came much quicker than what was listed on Amazon, around 10 business days. The packaging was a little smaller than I would have liked, but the product was not damaged. Second, the recess is made with high quality, especially considering its cost. However, I soon noticed a problem. In the image of the object, the cutting edge appears to be curved or rounded, but in fact the cutting edge is flat. Therefore, the chisel cannot be used to cut spoons or bowls. I returned the chisel and bought a #7 20mm Swiss arrow bow chisel instead which was much more expensive but amazing to use. Curved edge chisels I recommend Swiss made Pfeil chisels. I gave this chisel 3 stars because of the misleading picture.
