Failed to load media. I'm not new to resin printing, but I've never had a 6" print (I'm getting bigger). Thought it would be nice to try something for smaller models - glad I did. why. The price is significantly less than half the cost of my other models, it's a deal and a half. But what good is price without quality? Quality - Remember, resolution depends on pixel density. Well, that's a 6 inch 2K screen and a resolution of 2560 x 1620 pixels. This will be more than enough for the vast majority of users. Also, it doesn't suffer from aliasing issues like models from other brands. Aliasing also works well with Halot One. Check out the video I posted and the photos. Aliasing is minimal, details look great. 2.2-2.4 seconds seemed optimal for the quality and consistency of success with base resins. "Fast" resins allowed for shorter exposure times. this, but. Yes. You don't have to use it, and I don't recommend it. Lychee is supported natively, but you can use any slicer you want to support. Just export to STL and load the supported STL into Lychee. A little tip for you. The UI is very responsive I wanted finer control over things like raise/lower and also the UV strength of the screen itself. I liked the ability to refresh Wi-Fi although initially thought it was useless (before using it). What I was missing was displaying which pixels on the screen were lighting up during each shift. The pre-print rendering of the model is great, but all you get is a picture of the condition as it was printed really flat, well sanded/finished (could see marks in various places). Flat plate = easy adhesion. Everything is easy. Wat is a pretty standard vat. The FEP was well tightened and was not a problem yet. The fact that the thumbscrews are only partially threaded is commendable, but the tub itself is also threaded. This means you can lift the tub by the screws yourself and they won't slide out. A small thing, but made a big impression on me! I liked it very much. Odor - The resin has an odor, but compared to other models, the odor during operation is noticeably less due to air filtration. You will still smell it but not as strongly as others. Noise is not silence. When you add air filtration, you add fan noise. But despite the fact that I've seen numerous reviews complaining about this, that doesn't distract me in the slightest. If it really bothers you enough, you can always swap out the fan for another, much quieter model. However, the Z screw makes almost zero noise. With the lid off, I ran the Z screw up/down next to a sleeping baby (no resin, of course). Resin - Larger tank/more resin to pump. Smaller tank/less resin. This is not to be underestimated. It's so pretty that you don't need a full bottle to fill a small bottle. Accesories. I wouldn't normally mention it, but I was impressed. You get a standard tool kit/bag with a couple of hex wrenches, a scraper and some cheap flimsy paper filters. What's on top of that are filters for heavier applications and several spare FEP plates. Quality material to take away. Ouch! It's also a decent USB stick! Conclusion: For the price, it really doesn't get any better. You can get finer details. Of course. You can pay less for some other models, yes. But the combination of quality, price, accessories and support (great Facebook group) makes this purchase an absolute win. As I said in the video - it stays in my fleet. PS The picture with the creative guy only because I really liked this animation. It didn't add anything to the seal itself, but it did make me smile. Means something.
