They work but are difficult to use. You use 2 copper wires and a piece of plastic casing that snaps into place. However, there are times when you need to flip (+) and (-) and since it doesn't give you the other when you need it, it's flipped. You have to fiddle with 2 copper wires to connect them and even that is wonky because it uses a plastic case with a small rectangular bar that presses the copper wires against the light strip's contact points. So you are no longer applying any contact pressure to the contact points as you are now relying on the copper wires that you must route for the contact point. This was a big problem and I wouldn't recommend them as I'm pretty sure they make the ones that offer both options on both sides.
