Like many reviews here I need them for an old IKEA desk drawer that ended up breaking. I thought they were too thick but the thickness was perfect. Although the length was shorter than 12 inches like the old runners, I knew something shorter would still work, and it does! The screws that came with it weren't long enough, but I had screws at home to use and everything worked. Good thing the drawer was back in place. The 2 holes on each side line up perfectly with the current holes so I only have 4 screws holding the skid in place, but it's sturdy - I'll put some new holes in the plastic rail when I have time drilling on the sides to get more support - unless I sell the table first.
