I don't usually write reviews, but I had to. This product saved me from going insane. I live on the ground floor of an apartment building. If any of you live on the ground floor of an apartment, you know how bad it can be when you have noisy people on the top floor. I lost so much sleep and kept waking up at night because of people living on the roof of our apartment. Sometimes it seemed like they were stomping on the ground and throwing things on purpose. The noise will continue throughout the night. A complaint to the condominium changed nothing. I was going insane and constantly worried that my wife and I would not be able to sleep at night. I wanted to beat to death the people who live above us. Thank god my wife put my mind at ease and didn't let me do it. So I went ahead and bought a noisy fan and this product. I turn them both on at night and sometimes during the day as I sometimes work from home. All I can say is, thanks to the LectroFan and the side fan, we can finally sleep. It blocks noise from my neighbors. I'm not saying it blocks 100% of the noise, but 95% of the noise is gone. Last night was one of the best nights we've had in a long time.
