Review on 🧇 Multifun 2-in-1 Waffle and Sandwich Maker: Non-stick, LED Lights, Cool Touch, Easy to Clean - Black by Mary Hawkins

I only used the multifun waffle part but it totally lived up to my expectations! I've been using it for a few months and have only made about 50 waffles but so far so good! No waffle iron has perfect heat distribution and this one does too - the waffles are a bit faded around the edges but I like them that way. The rest of the heat distribution is very even, so the waffles cook evenly, AND the non-stick coating doesn't stick! (I add some bacon fat to the top and bottom just before kneading, but since the dough is used up I don't add any more fat and it doesn't stick.) I just gently hand washed the dough. interchangeable trays, but they slide out easily and fit into the heating mechanism, which is nice. I have to admit, the lighting function confuses me a bit. There are two lights - red and green. Red means it is heating up and working well. The green one should turn on when it's ready to pour in the batter. This part works fine. Then I'm not sure when the green light goes on or off and what it means. But that's fine as I've easily learned to judge by the sense of time plus sight whether I want a soft waffle or a crispy one, so I just ignore the light. This is the only reason I gave the device a 4/5 in the Ease of Use category - it's VERY easy to use. The light confuses me a bit. I am absolutely delighted with this waffle maker and will continue to use it until these sheets stick!
