You are fine. My car only had floor mats and I wanted something that would protect against the winter dirt we get in the Midwest. I do not like her. They are not wide enough at the front or rear to cover the entire floor area that the original floor mats cover. The prongs on the bottom don't hold up very well so time will tell if they slip off. I put them on rugs to protect the rug underneath, so I'm not sure if that helps or hurts their hold. For the price they are ok. I wasn't willing to pay over $100 for original carpets.
