I think it works in health care

My cat had a fatal allergic reaction to a prescription drug for hyperthyroidism. None of the other popular remedies seem like a good or healthy option, and I was so scared of new medicines that I started looking for alternatives. I have had my 15 year old cat on this thyroid treatment for about 3 weeks now. I haven't taken her over to check her testosterone levels yet, but she's eating less frequently but well and I think she's gained some weight. She doesn't feel so bony anymore and her fur is getting bigger, she feels very soft. She's not going crazy anymore, just cried a few times and looks happy. Much happier than before the nasty drug treatment. Now she's taking care of herself again. I started it with 4 starts instead of 5 because splitting it into 2 was still too big for her to fit in a pill bag so I'm crushing the pills now. It smells like herbs and she doesn't like it, so I have to crush treats with it to mask the smell and taste. I wish they would use a different flavor or offer it in a sprinkled or liquid form. After crushing it with a treat, I mix it with wet food and then she eats it. It's also worth noting that I also put her on an all-wet diet, which I think really helps her gain weight. I also mix it with water to make her feel more hydrated. Even the best dry food is not suitable for older kittens with illnesses. You need moisture. Moist food and that thyroid health seems like a great combination. Also, I initially started on half a pill for a few days to help her get used to it and now I give her about 1 and a half pills a day. If you want to squish it, hide it in some treats, etc. give it a try. It is less expensive than some liquid options from other brands. I'm very glad I bought it and it will last a while.
