My wife doesn't like $10-$15 rubberized cases because they almost get fingerprints forever greasy, and they are difficult to clean. But it is easy to clean, fingerprints are still visible but are washed off immediately with water. Fits perfectly but scratches easily. For $10 you can replace it annually with a Cepa, but hopefully it'll hold up well enough to outlive the MacBook. Even if I get a new one before the MacBook gives up, cost will never be an issue here. It doesn't darken the jet black very much, but it's a little darker, which looks nice.
