It doesn't feel like it's properly sealed. But I still use it.
I wish I had a photo of what I'm about to describe, but unfortunately I don't have one. I've installed it on my boat and it's very strong and durable, but when I tighten the cap the latch doesn't align until I back it off 1/4 turn. I think it will stay dry because I installed it.
