Recently I was trying to fix my skin. I rarely get flare-ups, but my skin is usually slightly oily, dry-spotted, acne-prone, and I struggle with blackheads and clogged pores. I have used many types of cleansers and lately I have used clay masks, vitamin c face oil, tea tree oil and pore reducing gel which have given me great results but I felt my skin was very dry because I basically was torn from my skin. I felt my skin continued to oil normally and my pores are definitely filling up again. I wanted to try a detergent that had baking soda as the main ingredient. This is a plus because it seemed like a gentle scrub. I've been using it daily for a little over a week and I can see that I no longer have patchy dry patches on my skin and my skin feels really good. clean after cleaning. As far as my pores are concerned, I can't say anything about the effect yet. Mild exfoliating properties are very good for daily exfoliation, no harsh odor. I think it might help my skin restore or balance its pH, but that's just a guess. I will still try the organic kind of baking soda to make my own cleanser as I would like to use more natural products and have a long time to use this product. I really like the gentle peeling. I was skeptical at first too, but I can say that I really like this cleaner and I write very few reviews about Revain, but this product definitely deserved my review.
