This is a little different from other hair masks. The texture and consistency was a bit odd at first but once you apply it to your hair it does a good job of light conditioning and makes my hair just look and feel great. It's kind of a slimy feel, more like a gel. , and applying it may seem strange as it doesn't feel like a regular conditioning mask. I've found that it works best with a wide tooth comb after positioning it properly with my hands. It doesn't feel slippery after rinsing or it's not a conditioner but I believe it does wonders for your hair. After use my hair is moisturized, has great volume and looks so shiny. For me it felt more like it sealed my hair and made it smoother rather than deeply conditioning. It suits me because I really like the results. It's very easy. It has no build up and when you wash it out it looks like I didn't use conditioner but my hair still combs well and doesn't get tangled. It's one of those things where you have to give it a good try or two before you realize how good it is and break away from the first impression of a different texture and how it feels on and after your hair . I wasn't too impressed because the texture was weird and it just didn't feel or look like a regular mask or conditioner. But once my hair dried, I saw the benefits. When you wash it off it will look like you didn't use the conditioner, but don't worry. The hair is still easy to comb and you will see results. I think combing it in the shower makes a big difference because it spreads better and gets everywhere. Otherwise, it can tend to coat the strand of hair without actually penetrating all of the hair in the strand. I like it very much and will buy it again. I love how it rinses out completely without leaving any residue but I can still see and feel the improvement. I've also used it as a leave-in without rinsing it off 100% and that was lovely too.
