Comfortable except when it's swimming

My new tub was about 2 inches longer. never thought this would happen! Either way, that means it was hard to relax without drowning, so I took a closer look at the bath pillow. What's good: It does what I need. Now I can relax in the bath without stretching my toes to keep my head above the water while reading. - That's convenient. The foam is soft enough to comfortably cushion the hard edge of the tile. The suction cups work well without water. If I don't use it for 3-4 days, it will stick to the wall where I left it. At least that's what happens when I make sure all 4 corners are on the same tile. The Bad: - It doesn't fit my tub very well - I have a very deep tub with a 2 foot deep shelf behind it. When I fasten it the way it's meant to be used, the bottom part doesn't go down low enough to support my shoulders. To get around this I place it sideways (see attached images) and it works really well. They swim. The suction cups work well enough to keep them where I want them when filling the tub, but as soon as I try to lean against them they stop working. I usually rest the occiput on the edge of the pillow so that the occiput is lightly touching the tub wall. This helps me keep the pillow submerged without much effort, however it pops out of the water as soon as I move. Summary: I will continue to use the pad until it wears out, but will make a few more purchases if I need replacements.
