Review on πŸ‘’ TuffRider Women's Starter Back Zip Field Boots in Synthetic Leather, Mocha, Size 8 Wide by Brian Edwards

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Ok if I'm on a budget I would personally buy a better pair

So I used to have Tuffrider Belmont Field Boots which lasted about a year and a half but I have them abused by using them as fertilizer and not tending them regularly so they could probably last longer. I will compare women's beginner boots to these as they looked similar, I was hoping for something similar to my old boots. In the beginning my old boots were real leather and these new boots were synthetic, I knew that and expected a difference in quality, but I definitely prefer real leather boots. Faux leather just looks like it won't stand up to water and rough use. What I really dislike about these boots is that they are very roomy in the calves and you couldn't buy them in a narrow version. My old Belmont boots fit snugly around my foot making them more comfortable and secure than beginner boots which can tighten up when walking due to the extra room. The beginner boots have thicker soles with a bit more texture for traction, my old Belmont boots had very little grip and could be slippery on smoother surfaces. The last one is very minor but the insole is not attached to the inside of the boot when I put it on for the first time, one came out when I took my foot out, just gave the impression of sloppy work as the insole is attached inside . such a simple and small thing to overlook. Overall I bought these as they were cheaper than my old boots (which I bought for $119) and looked the same, but I wish I had just spent a bit of money and bought another pair of my old boots, them are good for the budget and if you put them on when you don't plan on using them on a daily basis, a lot of details can be missed.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Don't really like it is ok
