I bought this to replace one that was not gigabit. At the moment I don't have a way to test the throughput. But I needed a way to provide ethernet and power to the remote camera so it didn't require an outlet or Wi-Fi. This was the only component in the solution that worked properly. It works correctly with a 48-5V DC POE splitter (ASIN: B0838BMP4S) feeding an Amcrest IP4M-1051B camera (ASIN: B07J224T84) and everything works correctly: network pass-through, POE status, lights and camera with no issues and connection detection to an ethernet network assuming everything is working as intended with the device I received. I'll update in a while to comment on long-term performance.
