It works well but I would recommend using it with caution especially if you have fair skin or hair. It took me several tries to finally get it right without getting a chemical burn. But when done right, it works very well. I've noticed that it seems to work better on the boys than it does on my shoulders. It makes the boys smooth as a baby's bottom. Below are recommendations on how I was able to successfully use this product without burning myself. First, I recommend having a hydrocortisone lotion on hand before use. I would not recommend leaving Nad's Creme on for more than 4 minutes, especially if you have a skin or hair color. I burned myself the first time I used it. I also found my shoulders and neck more sensitive than down below. I've found that it doesn't work well on longer hair. As others have written, it chemically burns the hair. The longer the hair, the longer it takes to burn the hair (and therefore the skin). I would recommend shaving first and then waiting a few days to use it, or just trimming your hair as short as possible. I know the purpose of this product is so you don't have to shave. This is only the first time you use the cream if you use it consistently without letting your hair grow too long. If you don't want to do any of this, I think you can use the cream for 4 minutes and repeat the process daily until you get the desired effect (I haven't tried it to know for sure). Next, I would recommend that you do it gradually. If you try to do everything at once in a large area, I can cause you to burn yourself. If you take 2 or 3 minutes to apply the cream and then you start the 4 minute timer, the cream will stay on the area that was treated first for 6 or 7 minutes and you will likely burn ( personal experience) . Eventually I have found that it is best to use cool water to remove the cream when the time is right. I do it like this: in the 4th minute I take a shower and wash off the cream with my hands with cold water. I set the temperature lower than usual, but warm enough to be comfortable. When I used warmer water (normal shower temperature) it seemed to burn more than when I used colder water. When I first used Nad's cream, I tried to wash it off with a washcloth in the sink. It was an epic failure. Since then I always wash it off in the shower. There are times when I still have problems after using this cream. If the area appears red or irritated after a shower, I apply a generous amount of hydrocortisone cream to it and it quickly goes away. If I wait and then take hydrocortisone it doesn't seem to work. For some reason it seems to me that it is only needed on the shoulders and near the neck. I didn't have to use it on boys or other parts of the lower region. I hope you find it useful.
